LFW SPRING 2016 TREND RECAP

London town Fashion week is one I have never gotten to experience in person, but am always excited to see online! I mean, can't you just picture everyone in their cute proper London outfits prancing to shows + having afternoon high tea? Well, at least this is what I picture! Maybe even get a glance of the queen?

Onto the shows! This season was all about romanticism in a new way. Feminine fabrics + Victorian all the way. LFW definitely had an overall theme that was extremely evident. See my recap below!

TREND: RUFFLES

Ruffles make you feel extra frilly + feminine. On the London runway, there were load of ruffles combined with different mixed media [like mesh + silk + lace]. Ruffles are perfect to add dimension to an outfit + also to feel even more like a lady. Shop some of my favorite ruffle pieces below.

TREND: ANTIQUE FLORALS

Antique florals reminiscent of an English garden were a favorite for London designers this season. These pieces were light + airy while evoking a feeling of femininity.

TREND: LACE

Lace, textured + colored was an interesting + bold this season. Many pieced laces, chemical lace, + brightly colored lace. This trend can flow through winter throughout spring depending on the colored lace you choose to buy!
