VICTORIAN PLEAT DRESS

Hi lovelies! I recently caught up with my lovely friend Gianna who snapped these photos of me. That girl is such a blessing + I just wanted to take a moment to say that I am so proud of her for pursuing her dreams outside of work + focusing on holistic health. She is so crazy talented + I cannot wait for her to launch her very own food and health coaching website/blog! You go G! Other than Gianna being amazing, she also taught me a lot about just loving myself and my body recently. She has me on a whole new health routine that is blowing my mind.. more on that to come!

Needless to say this outfit post is not just about this lovely crisp + white pleated dress. It makes me feel like a flashback to the victorian era with the lace and the high neck. Dolce & Gabbana was an inspiration for this dress, my shoes were inspired by Saint Laurent. On that note, it is completely okay to be inspired by a designer but have to buy something that looks like its sister. No shame in that! Victorian dresses are elegant but can be made modern with accessories so do not forget to avoid being literal and modernize your Victorian outfit.
